Presidents Room

34 Shortland Street, Auckland
Test Professionals Network (Auckland) presents:
Gillian Clark - An Introduction to Agile Development
Jim Highsmith (amongst other things, the director of the Agile Project Management Advisory Service for the Cutter Consortium) has said "Agile is a way of thinking, not a particular practice."
Whilst this is true and very relevant - it doesn't really answer the question 'but what is Agile, with a capital A'.
This presentation is aimed at explaining what Agile is (from a software development perspective) and examines:
- Why Agile?
- Some of the flavours of Agile development
- The Agile Manifesto
- The key features of any Agile process
- Some key reasons why agile fails
During this event, you will hear Gillian Clark, a founding member of the Agile Professionals Network talk to you about what Agile actually is and what that may mean to you as a test professional.
- The Auckland TPN Committee
Drinks will be available at a cash bar (cash only).
