As a testing consultant, Geoff Horne is often called upon to help rescue runaway testing projects.
In this presentation, Geoff looks at common causes of such problems, what to do to remedy them, and how to prevent their recurrence.
If your testing is taking longer than planned . . . or you are finding too many (or too few) defects . . . or your test project has simply lost its way, then this session will be most useful.
Find out if you are operating with faulty assumptions, learn how to identify the causes of your problems, and develop a strategy and plan to fix them.
Whether your issues relate to test planning, analysis, design, execution, management, or reporting, this proven approach will assist in getting your testing back on an even keel.
Drinks available at a cash bar (cash only).
About The Speaker
Geoff Horne is based in New Zealand and has founded and run two testing companies which have grown to enjoy an international clientele in Australia, UK, & USA. He has over 30 years experience in IT including software development, sales and marketing and IT and project management.
In 1994, almost by accident, he found himself involved in testing a complex fault management system which led to further testing and QA assignments covering a wide range of applications and tools.
Geoff's companies were subsequently founded to bring a full range of testing consultancy services to the IT Industry. Of late, he has focused on a few select Australian clients running complex test projects in a programme test management capacity.
