Join us for the 1st of what may become a regular event.

NZCS Canterbury recently started the informal ‘Birds of a Feather' sessions as something a bit different and on a different night to our regular monthly presentations. So let's try something that may appeal to those in the central city that can't make it to evening events.

This is an open invitation to those in Canterbury's ICT community to meet informally at lunch time, potentially once a month, in addition to our current monthly events.

Participants bring along your own lunch, ‘brown bag style'.

Topic: Open discussion and networking

For this first session we will leave it pretty informal and open, but here are a few ideas that can be tossed around.

• Do we want to do a regular lunch event, and if so an informal or formal style?
• Is a central venue the best place for these, or other, NZCS events?
• What topics, speakers etc would you like to hear/see at events?
• Anything else?

Come along and have a chat and do some networking.
