NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

New Zealand Computer Society Inc

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society will be held at 5.30pm on 19th June 2009 in Wellington.

We strongly recommend members unable to attend in person complete a Proxy Form.

Other Business

NZCS CEO Paul Matthews recently put a paper to Council recommending that Councillors and Branch Chairs, as well as possibly Secretaries and Treasurers, be exempt from NZCS membership dues.

As this affects Councillors directly, National Council has put the following two motions to the AGM for consideration:

• That membership dues be waived for members holding the positions of NZCS National President, Deputy President, Branch Chair or National Councillor;
• That membership dues be waived for members holding the positions of NZCS Branch Treasurer or Branch Secretary.

Note that this meeting is for members of NZCS only.
