NZCS Napier Sub-Branch Presents:
Using social media to build personal/professional learning networks
With the proliferation of web2.0 tools and the ensuing information overload as everyone has become a publisher, it can be hard to keep the signal-to-noise ratio down.
However, these very social media tools can also help. They can be used to build a filter - a professional learning network - that will help you navigate your way around networks to connect with knowledge and experts to inform your everyday practice.
On this presentation Joyce Seitzinger will look at common elements of social media and include examples and stories from those who rely on their PLN every day.
