A diverse range of organisations partner with the NZCS via the Corporate Partner Programme. As well as ICT companies of all shapes and sizes, most New Zealand organisations with a reasonably-sized IT department are also members, as well as a large number of government departments.

What these organisations share, however, is a true belief in the work of the NZCS, a commitment to the professional development of their staff, and a willingness to be recognised as a leader in their respective field.

One of the key concepts of the NZCS is the philosophy that we, as a sector, must take responsibility for working towards the issues we, as a sector, face. This has to be a partnership between industry, academia and Government, and NZCS is the catalyst and conduit for this relationship.

NZCS takes a leadership role in connecting the sector to resolve many of the issues we face, as well as taking a strong stand on educational issues in an attempt to unblock the pipeline to ICT from secondary schools and through tertiary institutions.

The NZCS Corporate Partner Programme allows us to do this work on behalf of the sector by not only providing a pooled source of funding for advocacy activities, but also gives us the legitimacy and mandate necessary when dealing with government, academia, industry, and the media.

All staff of Corporate Partners receive a 20% discount when they join the NZCS as individual members.

1 Free Individual NZCS Membership

Corporate partners receive one free NZCS membership (normal membership criteria applies). This is usually for the main contact person at the Corporate Partner.

NZCS regularly promotes our corporate partners to the wider community through advertisements, mentions, and the listing on our website. We also include a profile of all new Corporate Partners in Newsline, the newsletter of the NZCS read by over 6,000 ICT professionals nationwide.

As well as this, Corporate Partnership demonstrates to (and is recognised by) our partner's staff that the organisation is serious about the personal and professional development of their ICT staff.

NZCS Corporate Partners are recognised by the ICT Sector, their staff, and the public at large as those that believe in the pursuit of excellence in ICT.

NZCS Corporate Partners may use the NZCS "Partners in Excellence" logo on their website, business cards, and other promotional material (usage by authorisation of the NZCS).

The commitment made by NZCS Corporate Partners will often make all the difference in quotes and proposals by differentiating our Partners as organisations that are prepared to make a serious commitment to professionalism.

Corporate Partnership is graduated depending on the number of ICT staff an organisation has:

• $750+GST annually for Corporate Partners with 4-11 ICT staff
• $1200+GST annually for Corporate Partners with 12-49 ICT staff
• $1800+GST annually for Corporate Partners with 50+ ICT staff

The cost of joining the Educational Partner Programme is:

• $400+GST annually for Secondary Schools
• $1000+GST annually for Tertiary Institutions
